Copilot in Outlook can read an entire email thread and give you a plain-language summary of what happened, what was decided, and what still needs action. It takes about 10 seconds.
Open any email thread. At the top of the thread, you'll see a Copilot summary button — it usually says something like 'Summarize' or shows the Copilot icon. Click it. Copilot reads the whole thread and writes a short paragraph telling you the key points.
You can also ask it follow-up questions. 'What did Marcus say about the budget?' or 'Was a decision made about the deadline?' It answers in plain language based on what's actually in the thread.
This is one of the fastest time-saves available to you right now. If you're in back-and-forth threads with clients or suppliers, this alone is worth the price of a Copilot subscription.
